Job description

Basic Purpose Provides direction, management, and oversees Electric Meter Operations staffing and operations. Ensures the timely and accurate measurement of all energy flowing into and out of company power systems. Develops, leads, and implements projects that provide cost savings and have high potential for improving productivity, measurement accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Works closely with distribution design services and energy delivery department personnel to ensure timely and accurate installation of new service equipment and establishment of electrical services. Manages compliance projects related to various regulatory entities internal and external. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Manages and oversees metering electricians/technicians and engineers responsible for the installation and commissioning of electric meter sets for residential and commercial customers over 400 amps and for all primary and transmission voltage customers. - Establishes engineering technical meter standards for all classes of electric customers, as well as instrument transformers and meter system testing equipment; participates in evaluation and bidding events for the purchase of all t...
