Industrial Electrician

Job description

Description The Industrial Electrician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all Knight’s Redi-Mix, Knight’s Precast, and Knight’s Companies’ electrical systems, to include all plants, batching equipment, office buildings, and other applicable systems/structures. Essential Functions: - Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies. - Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture while upholding the company’s core values. - Routinely assess current electrical systems to proactively identify potential issues. Report needed upgrades and/or repairs needed to the Plant Maintenance Manager for review and scheduling. - Communicate with Plant Maintenance Manager, Plant Managers, and other plant personnel to assess and troubleshoot electrical issues. - Troubleshooting and repairing automated, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, VFDs, and sensors. - Installing conduit, wiring, and industrial electrical equipment. - Adhering to local, state, and national electrical codes, and conducting regular safety inspections. - Reading blueprints, schematic diagrams, and technical manuals. - Documenting maintenance...
