Patient Account Representative - Medical Billing Our Medical Billing department is looking for a Patient Account Representative to join the team. A Patient Account Representative will take care of patients calls inquiring about their medical bill. The patient account representative assists patients with anything that has to do with the submitting and/or payment of claims. Even though medical billing experience it's preferred, entry level candidates with medical customer service background are welcome to apply! Location: Taylorsville: Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8:00 - 5:00pm Pay: $16.00-19.50/hour DOE: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Excellent customer service, communication, multi-tasking and organizational skills. - Typing / key-boarding skills - Must be a team player and enjoy working with people. - Must be able to read, understand and communicate in English. - Be able to read Explanation of Benefits and understand coinsurance, copays, and deductibles Essential Functions and Duties: - Greet patients presenting for medical or other services in a courteous manner. - Answer telephones in a professional manner. - Communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with ph...
