Job DetailsJob Location: Hope Valley Country Club - Durham, NC 27707Position Type: Part-Time (Less than 30 hours a week)Summary: The Racquets Professional is responsible for providing high-quality tennis and pickleball instruction to members and guests of the private country club. This position involves teaching individual and group lessons, organizing tennis programs and events, and promoting tennis participation and engagement within the club community. Responsibilities: Conduct individual and group tennis/pickleball lessons for players of all ages and skill levels, focusing on stroke development, technique, footwork, strategy, and match play. Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans and training programs tailored to the needs and goals of each student, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and drills. Provide feedback and guidance to students during lessons, emphasizing proper technique, sportsmanship, and fitness, and encouraging improvement and progression. Serve as Summer Racquets Camp Coordinator under the direction of the Director of Racquets.
