Job Title: Pullet Sanitation Worker Department: Location: Reports To: Travel: Compensation: Job Summary The Pullet Sanitation Worker is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in layer and pullet barns through a comprehensive 13-step cleaning process. This role involves various cleaning techniques, including dry cleaning, power washing, whitewashing, manure pit maintenance, and fumigation. The Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring biosecurity and maintaining optimal conditions for pullet growth and layer productivity. Essential Job Functions: - Perform hand scraping of manure and feathers from cages, manure boards, and beams - Clean walls, beams, and cages using high-pressure air and hot water systems - Conduct power washing of barn structures and equipment - Manage manure removal and disposal from barns - Execute fumigation processes, including whitewashing and Veracid application - Operate various cleaning equipment, including thermo foggers and backpack sprayers - Maintain and properly use protective gear and apparel - Participate in cross-training and position rotation as required - Ensure compliance with USDA, FDA regulations, and company Good Manufacturing P...
