Beverage Server

Job description

Serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages along with food items as needed to guests throughout the property ensuring a positive guest experience. High school diploma or GED is required with a minimum of one to two (1-2) years of high volume cocktail service; or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience. Must possess knowledge of both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverage items. Must obtain through training and keep current a TIPS certificate for responsible alcohol service and sales. Must obtain and keep current an Indiana ATC (Alcohol & Tobacco Commission) Employee Permit License. Must possess basic mathematical skills to include the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities. Must have ability to balance cash drawer at end of shift. Must be 21 years of age or older and be able to obtain an Indiana Horse Racing License. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must possess good interpersonal skills. Be available to work various shifts, weekends and holidays.
