Department: Project Eagle Home Based Position Title: Bilingual Early Head Start Home Visitor Job Family Group: Professional Staff Job Description Summary: Project Eagle is an early childhood program focused on preparing children, engaging families, and promoting excellence for children and families in Kansas City, Kansas. Project Eagle provides home-based and center-based services to pregnant women and/or children ages birth to five through a variety of programs, the largest being Early Head Start. The Bilingual Home Visitor provides intensive, home-based early childhood education, parenting education, and family support services to voluntary participants in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards. The Home Visitor focuses on the four cornerstones of Early Head Start child development, family development, community building, and staff development to empower families in the areas of parenting, child development, health, nutrition, mental health, and self-sufficiency, by using outcome-based interventions.
