Job Title: Level 2 – Maintenance Semi Skilled Job Summary: Under direct supervision, perform semi-skilled maintenance and repair services of facility systems such as mechanical, electrical, and systems which do not require extensive specialization in one particular trade. Duties may increase in scope as the employee becomes more skilled, but the primary emphasis is the performance of a variety of maintenance tasks rather than a high degree of skill in any particular trade. Responsibility: Maintain systems to track, report, document and assist with scheduled preventative maintenance. Record coolant refractometer readings, top up machine oils and record usage. Manage oil and coolant inventory. Maintain equipment in a safe and clean manner. Operate a forklift. Cover all MMC L1 responsibilities. Other duties as assigned. Academic/Educational Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. Enrolled/Completed an Apprenticeship program, preferred: Required Skills/Experience: Essential Skills · Reading: 5 · Document Use: 3 · Numeracy: 3 One to two years of experience.
