City/State Norfolk, VA Work Shift: First (Days) Overview: Sentara Urgent Care Walk-In Clinic Kempsville is now hiring a Full-time Medical Assistant in Norfolk, VA! **ALL QUALIFIED CANDIDATES CAN RECEIVE up to a $5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS!** Hours: Monday-Friday, Dayshift. NO NIGHTS, HOLIDAYS or WEEKENDS! Overview: The Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative and clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The Medical Assistant provides an environment for safety; identifies, addresses, and incorporates principles of safety for the patient, visitors, and employees. Provides patient care tasks and procedures and administrative duties (as appropriate).
