Job Details: Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson Foods will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment. Hours are from 5:30 AM - 3:30 PM Pay is $20.35 per hour. General Job Description: Ability to operate a grinding machine safely, and while keeping work area clean. To be knowledgeable in the areas of GMP and safety, as it pertains to the grinding process. Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation Tasks: The Grinder Operator is responsible to inspect equipment, parts, and blades to verify they are in good repair and sanitary, prior to set up. Must be able to read and interpret work instructions. Must be able to accurately identify all raw materials used in the grinding process. Assist in the accurate verification of proper lot number usage in accordance with lots specified on formulas. Read, comprehend, and accurately perform any written/typed instructions for an item formulation. Must be able to use basic math skills when completing production paperwork.
