Specimen Management Specialist PRN

Labcorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our Specimen Management team in Phoenix, AZ. Work Schedule: This is a per diem/PRN position, hours will be as needed with start and end times varying Job Responsibilities: · Act a liaison between the lab, clients, and patients. · Resolve internal & external customer requests via calls, instant messenger & email communications · Communicates with customers in respectful and professional manner. · Work in multiple databases to research complex issues and questions. · Provide customer education and information as needed. · Review test forms for accuracy and report any discrepancies. · Prepare and triage specimens for analysis. · Accurately identify and label specimens. · Pack and ship specimens as necessary. · Prepare and store excess specimen samples. Minimum Qualification: · High School Diploma or GED equivalent Preferred Qualification: · Current or prior Labcorp experience · Associates degree · One year or more of experience in a medical/clinical laboratory experience Additional Job Standards: · Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal · Familiarity with laboratory operations as well as policies and proc...
