Job description

We're looking for a customer service focused Settlements Officer with strong communication skills to be responsible for the settlement of Commercial Finance contracts within their delegated level of authority. Roles and responsibilities: Prepare settlements documentation: - Liaise with the broker and BDM’s to obtain all required information to settle the loan - Review client contracts, consult on contract variations and verify they have been executed correctly by the borrower. - Manage and resolve queries related to client contracts. - Make sure Metro’s Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR) has been lodged over the asset. - Prepare the Payment run for checking. - Check relevant documents have been saved against the loan. - Settlement preparation is undertaken via the Metro Broker Portal, PPSR register and equifax. - Collect, analyse and submit settlements-related data for Business Intelligence dashboards and reports. - Identify any opportunities for process improvement and take the ideas forward.
