We are looking to a new Pharmacy Technician to our team. Shift available is 8:30am to 5:00pm. This position will have a rotational Saturday, and the hours would be 10am to 3pm. Position Summary: The Pharmacy Technician assists licensed pharmacists by preparing and dispensing prescription medications and supplies under the direction of a Registered Pharmacist in a fast-paced pharmacy where attention to accuracy, regulatory compliance, and efficiency are critical to patient safety and care, working within the limits of standard or accepted practice. Primary Responsibilities: Perform job assignments in full compliance and complete understanding of URAC, state and federal laws and internal policies and procedures governing the handling, dispensing and distribution of medications dispensed by Parkview Rx. Prepare, label, and dispense medications under Pharmacist supervision.
