Description: Serve as Director for a disease program in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology (10% effort), fulfilling the following responsibilities:1. Oversee clinical activities of faculty members in the program, including practice guidelines, research, mentorship, compliance, quality, service, scope.2. Provide general leadership, including service and education.3. Mentor junior members of the program, in cooperation with other leaders.4. Encourage and facilitate academic development/promotion and diversification of expertise. Participate in regular/annual career development conferences with faculty members in the program.5. Collaborate with related sub-specialists and investigators in various disciplines across Winship.6.
