Injection Molding Process Technician Lead, 2nd shift

Job description

Position Summary: Responsible for ensuring on-time production of quality product, process troubleshooting and machine setup. Functions as the lead technical expert of all plastic injection molding processes/machinery and leader of PUMA staff from a technical capacity. Note: the Lead PUMA will not be responsible for conducting performance management reviews. Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to, the following: - Perform mold, machine, and robot setup activities. - Perform material changeovers and material system troubleshooting. - Perform mold and process troubleshooting. - Assist in new process development. - Fanuc robot programming and setup. - Assist with scrap reduction continuous improvement projects. - Organize tooling and tool run status. - Load and unload molds on and off of tool trucks with overhead hoist. - Drive Hilo per production needs. - Maintain clean work area. - Provide direction and coaching to less experienced team members as requested. - Support and drive continuous improvement activities. - Coordinate communication / documentation between shifts. - Coordinate any repairs with maintenance. - Serve as point of contact for escalated PUMA related issu...
