Nurse Practitioner | Carolina Dunes Behavioral Health | Leland, North Carolina About the Job: The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing general medical or psychological care and treatment to patients, under the direction of physician according to scope of practice guidelines. Performs history, physical examinations, and preventive health measures or Initial psychological exams, admissions and discharges on assigned patients; provides consultation and liaison throughout hospital facility; performs daily rounds on patients as directed by supervising physician; prescribes medications; provides clinical assessments and diagnosis; and individual, group, and family therapy. Works collaboratively with the medical/clinical staff under the guidelines of state licensure for Nurse Practitioners.
