Position Summary Acuren Inspection is now hiring hard working, dependable Painter to work on a project basis to start as soon as possible. The Technician is responsible for carrying out duties and responsibilities in a safe and timely manner as assigned by the Supervisor. Responsibilities: KEY TASKS & GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Other work duties as assigned. - Have a comprehensive knowledge Painting/Blasting - Assist other technicians as required - Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders - Ensure operational safety of all equipment Requirements: EDUCATION: - SPRAT/IRATA certification Required - Must be willing to obtain SPRAT/IRATA Certification - Knowledge of coating materials, application techniques, and curing processes - Experience with paint and industrial equipment - Experience using a wet paint gun, hand and power tools, and other painting equipment - The ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings - The ability to read and use coating thickness gages, surface profile gages, dew point meters, soluble salt testers, and hardness or ultrasonic thickness gages - Previous pipeline experience preferred - NCCER Painter certification a plus -...
