Job description

After School Instructors may work with a group of up to 20 students from TK - 8th grade with daily tasks consisting of but not limited to: Tutoring, homework assistance, and educational enrichment. Instructors must have high energy, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to maintain a fun and organized atmosphere. Instructors also ensure seamless integration of Catalyst programs with school day activities by sharing district classroom spaces and collaborating closely with school district staff. After School Instructors report to the Site Coordinator at their respective site. Essential Job Functions: - Provide tutoring and homework assistance to help students meet national standards. - Collaborate with Site Coordinator to create and implement all Catalyst ExpandEd Learning (ExL) curriculum, rules, and procedures, including new curriculum that may be introduced during the school year. - Provide students with educational enrichment which may include positive youth development strategies, recreation and prevention activities, and the ability to teach youth positive life skills. - Work collaboratively with staff members at site, both internally (Catalyst ExL...
