Job description

Mount Sinai Queens is seeking a Site Chair, Department of Medicine, Site Chief, Division of Hospital Medicine. The Mount Sinai Health System includes several hospitals throughout New York, including Mount Sinai Queens (MSQ). The MSQ Department of Medicine is part of the Samuel Bronfman Department of Medicine, the largest academic department in the Mount Sinai Health System and the largest academic department of medicine in the country. As the Site Chair for Mount Sinai Queens (the “Department”), you are responsible for the clinical, educational, and research activities of the Department. As Site Chief for the Division of Hospital Medicine, you are responsible for the recruitment, development, mentorship, and performance of the faculty within the Division. The faculty in the Department work in multiple divisions, including but not limited to Gastroenterology, General Internal Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Pulmonary, Rheumatology, Nephrology, Neurology, Endocrinology, and Psychiatry.
