City/State Virginia Beach, VA Work Shift: First (Days) Overview: Overview Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury and help build or restore vocational/ daily living skills as well as general independence. Education: - Bachelors Degree (Required) - Masters Degree (Preferred) - Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapist Certification/Licensure: - Must possess State License and NBCOT Certification. - Valid NBCOT Certified Occupational Therapist - Certifications - National Board Certification In Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and license required in state of practice. Experience: Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members. Performs modalities/therapeutic interventions in accordance with accepted standards of care and department policies and procedures.
