Brief Role Description Volkswagen Audi and Lamborghini vehicles arrive into Canada by vessel (Halifax) and rail (Halifax, Charny, Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Vancouver) and are distributed to dealers through a network of rail and truck transportation. The Port Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the 3rd party operations at the Halifax Port and the 7 Canadian railheads. This entails daily interaction with the respective service teams at these facilities and with the management teams of contractual and non-contractual carriers on priorities and expectations. This position is also responsible for monitoring the movement of vehicles from point of arrival to final delivery. This includes measuring and monitoring rail transit times, maximizing haul away carrier velocity at railheads and minimizing railroad dwell time. Base Compensation : $87,194.00 - $97,194.00. Salary range is dependent on factors such as industry-based experience, skills, training, credentials, and other qualifications.
