***This position is contingent upon award *** Responsibilities: Location: Hybrid - 3 days onsite Brooklyn, NY, 2 days remote - Proactively monitor, detect, and respond to security threats across networks, systems, and cloud environments - Analyze incidents, implement controls, and collaborate across teams to strengthen security posture - Perform threat triage, incident investigation, and risk analysis - Analyze security alerts/events for IOCs, attack patterns, emerging threats across all environments - Correlate data, develop unified views of cyber risk, and enable decision-making - Identify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and protection gaps; assess business impact - Ensure alignment with regulatory and federal security standards (NIST, FISMA) - Document findings, trends, and lessons learned - Support continuous improvement of security operations Requirements: Applicant must be a U.S. citizen residing in the U.S. This position requires obtaining a clearance through the Department of Education.
