Job DetailsJob Location: NEWARK, NJ 07114COME WORK WITH US as an AIRPORT SCREENER!! ****MUST HAVE A SORA (Security Officers Registration Act) LICENSE PRIOR TO HIRE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION**** PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Screening travelers in conjunction with Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Gathering intelligence and searching for weapons, drugs, and other contraband that risk safe travel. Identifying and ceasing emerging transportation security threats by utilizing variety of techniques and equipment to search travelers and luggage. Educating travelers about TSA regulations while providing customer service to travelers. Assisting in the efficient flow of passengers through screening checkpoints. Maintaining communication at all times with supervisors regarding vulnerable areas of security. Controlling passenger entry into security checkpoints. Reviewing passenger manifests against watch lists. On –call position (hours will very and are on demand with no guarantee of a certain number of hours per week).
