Classification Title: Research Technician Classification Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in appropriate area of specialization or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Job Description: The Research Technician will contribute to basic laboratory operations, including researching and evaluating new products, comparing and negotiating vendor prices, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, categorizing and storing sensitive scientific materials and instruments, mentoring students, assisting with scheduling lab meetings and preparing agendas, and coordinating equipment repairs. The technician will also collaborate with the ARC to ensure protocol compliance, manage procurement of lab supplies, and maintain a well-organized and clean lab environment. - Aids investigators or higher-level technicians with routine preliminary data analyses.
