Description Winthrop University, a highly ranked, public, comprehensive university, announces a search for Adjunct Professors in Theatre and Dance, in the Department of Theatre and Dance, within the College of Visual and Performing Arts. The assignment commences academic year 20-21, and subsequent assignments are determined on a semester by semester basis. Winthrop enrolls a diverse student body, which closely mirrors the racial and ethnic diversity in the state, and has recently received accolades for its success in graduating students of color. Qualifications: Adjunct faculty teaching undergraduate courses at Winthrop University are expected to hold a master’s degree or higher in the teaching disciplines. In order to teach graduate courses at Winthrop University, faculty must have an earned doctorate / terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline. Winthrop University gives primary consideration to the highest earned degree in the discipline.
