Job Summary: Provides support to the anesthesia care team to assist with patient care responsibilities to include anesthesia equipment cleaning, maintenance and troubleshooting, cleaning and turnover of ORs, and supply management in coordination with materials management. Essential Functions: All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's purpose: Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference. Cleans and maintains anesthesia carts, machines, and other equipment inclusive of but not limited to fiberoptic bronchoscopes and laryngoscopes located in the department. Stocks supplies and responds to inventory management by informing supervisor or designee if supplies are inappropriate. May initiate resolution in emergency. Responds to needs of anesthesia practitioners as needed for supplies, equipment, pharmaceuticals, etc. Responds to emergency call to any OR. Sterilizes or high level disinfects equipment such as laryngoscope blades and handles, fiberoptic bronchoscopes or other equipment as needed for patient use.
