Department: CHS Behavioral Health Job Summary: The Psychologist provides doctoral level integrated behavioral health services as a Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) and functions as a key member of the primary care medical team. The BHC abides by guidelines and expectations specific to the clinic in which they provide patient care. Services will be provided in the Ambulatory Care Services (ACS) clinic(s) with a focus on therapeutic interventions across the lifespan. Services include expert diagnostic assessment and brief evidence-based treatment for psychiatric disorders and assessing psychosocial factors in patients with chronic medical conditions as well as substance abuse screening.
