Department: 37851 Carolinas Medical Center - Lifeshare: Organ Status: Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Variable Pay Range: $44.15 - $66.25 Major Responsibilities: - Under the supervision of LifeShare's medical director, rotate on-call medical director extender coverage, evaluating potential donor suitability, utilize evidenced-based practice to manage LifeShare donors and optimize organ function. - Precepts and mentors Organ Recovery Coordinator III teammates - Make and execute treatment and clinical care decisions. - Perform diagnostics/procedures, where applicable to include mid-lines, arterial lines, bronchoscopy as necessary. - Work with the organ recovery coordinator (ORC) III to coordinate and provide staffing for the DCC. - Serve as the intraoperative care provider providing “head of the bed” management to include airway and ventilator management, lung recruitment and Valsalva maneuvers, hemodynamic monitoring and treatment, and medication administration. - Oversee DCC equipment management including regulatory compliance with all CLIA, CMS, UNOS, and FDA requirements, maintenance, and quality control (QC) procedures. - Lead...
