Job Description Manages the staff and activities of social work services. Ensures quality assurance and continuous quality improvement of social work services. Ensures staff is informed of changes that impact their work by communicating updates, policy revision, performance outcomes and significant events. Evaluates individual performance and clinical competencies. This leadership role will support the continued growth and expansion of our aging life care and caregiver support programs across the Northwell enterprise. Job Responsibility: - Provides leadership to team members, supervisors and managers of Social Work Services by communicating and guiding toward achieving department objectives. - Develops, communicates, and builds consensus for goals in alignment with the health system. - Contributes to the development and implementation of strategic vision and plan of the department. - Oversees staff development and in-service training to maintain/improve staff performance and ensure the highest quality service delivery possible. - Coordinates and provides clinical supervision to social work staff, as applicable. - Facilitates training opportunities for staff, and keep appropriate re...
