Essential Job Functions: Responsible for the operation of the snowmaking equipment in the most efficient way possible while producing the best quality product for our guests. Qualifications: - Operate snowmaking equipment safely and efficiently. - Offer continual training and assistance of the standard operational and safety practices to the Stage II Snowmaker. - Make snow according to all standards operating practices and safety procedure as instructed and or outlined in the manuals set forth by Keystone Resort. - Operate all transportation vehicles as per the standard operating procedures. - Undertake general building maintenance and housekeeping on a daily basis - Maintain snowmaking equipment as directed. - Develop and foster a teamwork approach. - Assist in Pipeline Replacement. - Fundamental understanding of plant facilities and operational variables. - High school diploma or equivalent - 2 seasons experience in snowmaking - Fluent in English - Valid driver's license - Able to work extended hours in alpine weather conditions - Able to lift 50 lbs - Team player with supervisory experience - Basic understanding of mechanical equipment - Snowmaking experience at Keystone Resort
