Job Title: Converting Supervisor Shift: 3rd: Reports To: Converting Superintendent: Summary: Supervise approximately 10 – 30 people in the daily routine of producing quality corrugated products in a safe, productive manner with minimum waste. Duties and Responsibilities: - Maintain quality, efficiencies, and production levels set by management. - Establish high morale within your department by showing fairness, consistency, and an interest in employee problems. - Maintain inventories of sheets, inks and other converting supplies. - Coordinate with your supervisor and Maintenance Manager on any repairs or preventive maintenance done in the department. - Conduct weekly Production/Safety meetings with departmental personnel. - Implement, maintain, and support all company policies and procedures, including safety program and good housekeeping. - Directly supervises all employees assigned to the department. - Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws including the following: training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; conflict resolution; team...
