Nashville General Hospital is hiring for an Care-Partner/CNA for Med/Surg as a Full-time Night Care Partner at our Main Hospital on Albion Street. This Care Partner position will be a Certified Nursing Assistant that is primarily responsible for providing direct care for assigned patients under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. A care partner/CNA gets direction from a licensed nurse to assist the patient with needs and tasks. *This is a full-time position working 12-hour shifts and a weekend requirement.* Care-Partner/CNA Roles and Responsibilities: - Taking and recording patient vitals - Helping patients with daily tasks, including getting dressed and using the restroom - Monitoring patient progress and maintaining health records - Fostering strong relationships with patients and making patients feel comfortable - Aiding communication between patients and healthcare teams - Communicating with the patient's family - Helping patients plan for hospital discharge Required Skills & Qualifications: About Nashville General Hospital Nashville General Hospital (NGH) is Nashville’s original community- based hospital.
