Full Time: Days: Job Summary: The Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS) Program Coordinator coordinates the care and education of MCS device patients and their families from pre-operative contact through the post-operative period. Minimum Education: Has completed the basic professional curricula of a school of nursing as approved and verified by a state board of nursing and holds or is entitled to hold a diploma or degree therefrom. Bachelor of Science in Nursing, preferred. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License. Basic Life Support (BLS). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) license preferred. Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of progressive leadership and related critical care work experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of regulations, requirements, and processes of INTERMACS, IRB and data management.
