Overview We are seeking an Emergency Room RN, also referred to as an Emergency Department RN or Emergency Services RN. The ER RN provides rapid and skilled care to patients who arrive at the hospital seeking emergency medical attention. The ER Nurses are skilled professionals who play a critical role in delivering emergent and urgent care to patients in the emergency department. Shift’s Available: Nights: Employment Type: PER DIEM: Hours: 12hr shifts – 7:00pm to 7:00am Location: Dallas Medical Center – Farmers Branch, TX Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): - Assess patients upon arrival to determine the severity of their condition and prioritize care accordingly, follow standardized triage protocols to quickly identify patients who require immediate attention due to life-threatening conditions - Provide direct care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions and injuries which may involve administering medications, performing procedures such as wound care or splinting, monitoring vital signs, and managing pain - In cases of severe illness or trauma, you may assist with stabilizing patients and initiating life-saving interv...
