This posting is for a current vacancy. We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team during an exciting period of growth. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the accurate and timely financial reporting for our expansive portfolio of real estate assets across Canada. This is a critical position within our finance function that strengthens financial integrity, enhances reporting quality, and provides insight that supports strategic and operational decision making. You will serve as a trusted partner to Property Operations while upholding the highest standards of accounting accuracy, compliance, and internal control. In addition to the duties typically expected of a senior accounting professional, responsibilities will include: Real Estate Portfolio Reporting - Prepare quarterly and annual income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. - Lead quarter end and year end close processes including review of journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and amortization schedules. - Maintain and monitor the general ledger and chart of accounts to ensure integrity and proper classification of transactions. - Prepare and review working papers that...
