BUSINESS ANALYST BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES: The Business Analyst position lies within the AGL Services Company supporting the FP&A & Regulatory department exclusively supporting the retail natural gas business (“SouthStar”). This full-time position is accountable for managing the end-to-end reporting and advanced analytics for SouthStar Retail across all markets. The position requires integrating and harmonizing large, complex datasets from multiple sources into structured, actionable intelligence that drives strategic decision-making. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining data models, performing quantitative analysis, and generating insights that inform business recommendations and operational improvements. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with internal departments and external business partners to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with organizational objectives. Strong technical proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation, Power BI for interactive dashboards and visualization, and experience with relational database technologies is essential.
