Master Scheduler

Job description

Purpose and Scope The Master Scheduler is responsible for collaborating with the Scheduling and Planning team to develop, schedule, and coordinate the production of products throughout the production cycle. This role ensures the creation of production plans and jobs so that materials are available to maintain production, while also providing feedback to management. The position requires regular interaction with the Scheduling team, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, Warehouse, Production, Quality Control, Process Development, and Quality Assurance to review batch status, prioritize production orders, and manage any potential disruptions to the schedule. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Work closely with the Planning Team to create and maintain the master production schedule. - Establish and update production jobs in the ERP system to support the master schedule, ensuring the team has visibility into material readiness. - Coordinate with the cross-functional Ready-To-Execute (RTE) team to confirm that products and resources are available and scheduled to meet production and timeline goals. - Collaborate with support departments, including Engineering and MS&T, to arrange non...
