Responsive recruiter General Summary: Provides patient care, performs patient and community education activities and assists in the implementation of the QA/QI Program. Ensures all patient information is kept secure and confidential. Must have excellent communication and people skills and work well with others. Primary Responsibilities: 1.Provides patient care under the supervision of the Health Center's providers and documents all services in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). 2.Performs basic laboratory tests. 3.Assists with patient and community education activities. 4.Assists in the compilation of data. 5.Assists with the auditing of charts for the QA/QI Program. 6.Assists staff in keeping the examination and laboratory rooms clean and well stocked at all times. 7.Performs one to one patient education on disease processes, diet and care management as ordered by health care provider. 8.Responsible for Home Health Orders. 9.Refill medications with approval from Health Care provider and providing authorizations and prior authorizations for referrals and diagnostic testing. 10.Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
