Department: 37340 Advocate Christ Medical Center - Hematology/Oncology Clinic Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: No Hou rs Per Week: 0 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Per diem position, but flexibility to work 2-3 days a week when needed. Clinic is open Monday - Friday: 8a-430p, no weekends or holidays Position is based out of Christ Hospital but may travel to South Suburban Hospital when needed. Reliable Transportation needed: Pay Range: $19.80 - $29.70 Major Responsibilities: Patient Services Representatives provide efficient, high-quality service to patients who arrive for appointments or who telephone or visit in person to request appointments or information on tests and procedures, bills and charges, referrals, and other matters. Distributes communications accurately, based on practice protocol. Includes pagers, faxes, emails. Performs other related duties as required. Billing Services: Ensures entry at time of service of billing information on the patient and payer and accurate follow-up on missing information.
