Job description

Amentum is seeking a Guard to join our team in Hawthorne, Nevada to support the Hawthorne Army Depot. The Guard will ensure the safety and security of personnel and real property on the base and reports into the Security Department Manager. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance. ​ Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct armed patrols, mounted and on foot. Stand post at designated locations, carries out instructions, primarily oriented toward ensuring that emergencies, security, and safety violations are readily discovered and reported to appropriate authority. Perform all work safely and with the utmost concern for the safety of self and other employees. Perform all work in compliance with environmental permits and regulations. Ability to perform in a professional manner and maintain a neat and clean appearance in assigned uniform. Work in close proximity to and or in a munition storage and demilitarization facility.
