NDT Level II Inspector

Job description

LEAD: NDT inspections (RT, VT, MT, PT, etc.) Develop and lead an in-house RT program Perform review and interpret radiographic images and reports Notify supervisors and other personnel of quality problem(s), and assist in identifying and correcting those concerns Train, coach and mentor assistants, technicians and trainers in quality workmanship and best practices Verify and support safety requirements compliance COORDINATE: RT Inspections to ensure safety is prioritized and efficiencies are identified Team growth and training: Maintain and improve product quality by collaborating with other team members to develop new process designs, manufacturing, and training methods SUPPORT: Maintain NDT personnel certifications & associated documentation Assist with review of contract requirements and vendor/contractor requirements Collecting and compiling relevant quality statistical data Assist with inspection activities as needed Assist with training needs, including leading or co-facilitating training classes as needed, regarding quality procedures and processes Other duties as assigned: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Certifications: RT, PT, VT, UT & MT; IRRSP Radiation Safety Training & Experie...
