Terms of Employment: 12 months Exemption Status: Non-Exempt: Temporary Position: $17.00 per hour EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE AND: - High School Diploma required. - Experience working with children. QUALIFICATIONS: - Demonstrated interest in and aptitude for working with school-aged children. - Excellent human relations skills. - Good oral and written communication skills. - Ability to communicate effectively with staff, students and parents. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Ability to work effectively with students. - Works with individual or small groups to provide instructional reinforcement after the classroom teacher - delivers the instruction. - Regular on-time attendance. - Performs related duties as assigned by the principal and/or designee. - Required to provide substitute coverage as needed.
