Job description

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - 8 years of experience with systems automation, systems design and implementation. - 8 years of experience with technical infrastructure (e.g., deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting), and with reliability of technical infrastructure. - 3 years of experience working with system safety or functional safety projects and use of functional safety standards. - Experience with functional safety standards such as IEC 61508, ISO 13849,1SO 10218,ISO 26262, ISO 21448 (SOTIF), or similar frameworks. - Experience with functional safety engineering for embedded systems, automotive, robotics, or other hardware. Preferred qualifications: - Master's degree or PhD in a related technical field. - Certified Functional Safety Engineer(CFSE) or Certified Functional Safety Professional(CFSE) by TUV, Exida, or equivalent. - Experience working with external partners or vendors on safety assessments and system reviews. - Familiarity with highly integrated edge systems, high-performance computing, or mixed-criticality systems.
