Dietary Worker - Full Time (Stony Brook Southampton Hospital) RESPONSIBILITIES: - Knowledge of patients diets and various tray line positions to ensure accurate meals to patients. - Duties include serving patient food, maintaining cleanliness and organization of patient workstation. - Operation of dish machine or pot washing station. - Break down and clean up after meals. - Maintain safe and sanitary conditions of tables, carts & equipment and service ware. - Demonstrates ability to comprehend and complete job assignments as assigned. - Uses all Personal Protective Equipment. Utilizes equipment in performing job functions as per department safety procedures. - Reports unsafe, warring or damaged equipment. - Maintains workstation in a clean and orderly condition at all times. - Utilizes equipment in performing job functions as per department safety procedures. - Complies with Stony Brook Southampton Hospital Policies and Procedures.
