Position Overview: - Department: Patient Service ANC - Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm - Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's East - Benefits for eligible positions include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do: Manage activities and flow of work for the assigned clinical support area. - Develop, implement and evaluate program services and initiatives. - Manage all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assist with problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services, and systems/performance measures. - Monitor and adhere to budget. Approve or monitor expenditures, purchases and other actions to insure compliance with budget guidelines. Education: - High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree with 2 years of experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specificexperience required. - 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
