As a Cardiovascular Cath Lab Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to the patient and provides assistance to the Cardiologist during all phases of cardiac catheterization. You will perform a variety of technical and administrative duties that relate to the Cardiac Cath Lab. You will work primarily with adult and geriatric patient populations. You will be responsible for: Effectively performs circulator, scrub and recorder duties during procedures. Calibrates equipment as needed. Performs and documents a nursing assessment to identify and prioritize patient’s needs, with development of a plan of care.
