Job Summary The Certified Surgical Technologist organizes, directs, and performs activities related to instrumentation, sterilization, and supplies that are utilized for patient care in the operating room Reports to: Job Specific Responsibilities Daily assignments may include but are not limited to: - Prepare the operating room for incoming surgeries - Assisting surgeon in the operating room - Inventory surgical instrumentation and supplies prior to an operation - Recount surgical instruments and supplies at the end of an operation - Sterilize equipment and stock up on necessary supplies - All other assigned duties related to attending the operating room Education and Experience: - High School Diploma or GED - Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program Required Licensures/Certifications/Registrations: - Basic Life Skills Certification (BLS); must obtain within the first 30 days of hire into the role - Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery- Certified (TS-C) of Certified First Assistant (CFA) Skills and A...
