Job description

Description The Office of Equity & Inclusion seeks an equity-minded and collaborative individual to join our team as the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) Coordinator in the Office of Equity & Inclusion (OEI) at Whittier College. The DEI Coordinator supports DEI program development conducted by the Office of Equity & Inclusion. This individual primarily oversees OEI student staff and hires and supervises the OEI Diversity Ambassadors and other student staff within OEI. The Coordinator is the main liaison between OEI and student clubs and organizations and serves as the primary advisor to the Student Diversity Council and Social Justice Coalition. In addition, the Coordinator will support the management and creation of events and programs geared toward faculty and staff to foster, create, develop, and sustain a nuanced understanding of diversity and inclusion on campus.
