Materials Driver I (Swing Shift)

Job description

Position Summary The Materials Driver I is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of raw materials and finished goods between bioMérieux locations. This role supports warehouse and manufacturing operations by performing physical material handling, executing real‑time system transactions, and upholding all cGMP, ISO, and FDA requirements. The position also contributes to lean practices, workplace organization, and efficient material flow to internal customers. Key Responsibilities: Qualifications - Operate a medium‑ to large‑sized box truck while adhering to all State and Federal vehicle regulations. - Follow OSHA warehouse safety guidelines and all internal safety policies. - Drive designated delivery routes as assigned by leadership. - Physically and electronically move materials to designated locations using warehouse equipment. - Perform pre‑trip vehicle inspections and monitor maintenance needs. - Verify quality of delivered materials. - Receive, count, and store incoming materials from multiple suppliers. - Log logistics KPI data and maintain bins and shelving. - Replenish materials daily in support of internal customers (“Just in Time”). - Process material transac...
