Job Description: Using professional coding training, critical thinking, and clinical acumen, accurately assigns ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes to conditions and procedures documented within the inpatient electronic medical record. Applies Official Coding Guidelines, CMS regulations/guidelines, and other coding standards and guidelines established for use with the ICD-10 standard code set.
